OILS OF ANCIENT
SCRIPTURE SERIES
HYSSOP
Here is an excerpt from the post on Hyssop:…Hyssop deals with “swallowed emotions.” The opposite would be “movement”… “I raise my awareness”.. through the Holy Spirit and allow Him to heal. We weren't meant to carry around a bag full of trauma and emotions… When we lay those burdens down at the feet of Jesus, we can walk in freedom.

Meet Joe and Amy Lee.
We always lived a healthy lifestyle. We went to the gym 4-5 times a week, followed a healthy nutrition plan, and had a healthy spiritual life. When Amy was diagnosed with a low platelet count and sent to the hematologist, it was scary. Fortunately, about that same time, she was introduced to Young Living oils. Little did we know just how good life could be. We want to share our love of oils and our love for Christ with as many other people as possible. Come join us on a journey to change the world.
Who is Amy Lee?
A mom, music teacher, Young Living oiler, health nut, and lover of Jesus.
Amy grew up in Dalton, GA, just 20 miles from Chattanooga, TN. She attended college in Arkansas at a private liberal arts school, Harding University, where she got a degree in music education and a master's in curriculum and instruction. From there, Amy moved to Houston, TX and taught PK- 5th-grade music for two years. Soon after moving to Little Rock, AR, in 1997, she became a stay home mom and had four children, Emily, Marcus, Joshua, and Jonathon.
She went back to teaching in 2007 and has been back in the education sector for over 15 years. In the midst of all this over the years, she has been a Kindermusik teacher, piano and voice teacher, and puppeteer.
Having grown up in Crow Valley, in north GA, she has always had an interest in wellness and healthy living, nutrition, gardening, and learning to live life to its fullest. She continues to teach elementary music in Bryant, AR, and is a wife to Joe Lee since 2011.
Who is Joe Lee?
Joe is an Army veteran with a little over 22 years of service. He spent most of his time on active duty, 17+ years, and served in both the Army Reserve and the Army National Guard. He had two combat tours—one tour in Iraq and one tour in Kosovo. He is an SFC (ret) and served as an 11B, 91B, 68K, and a 35L. (Infantryman, Combat Medic, Medical Laboratory Technician, and Counterintelligence Agent.)
He holds a Health Sciences and Exercise Science bachelor's degree and is starting his double master's degree in Complementary Alternative Medicine and Health and Wellness. He has worked in the health and wellness space for over seven years, including running a CrossFit program, managing a big box gym, and personal training. For the past year and a half, he worked for himself, honing his entrepreneurial muscle. He learned a lot of things and discovered first-hand the journey is quite challenging. He is a part of the John Maxwell Team. One of Joe's favorite John Maxwell says (paraphrased) is “in most things you do the first time, it will take twice as long and be twice as hard as you think.” He attests to the truth of that statement.
He and Amy have been married for nine years. As of their marriage, Joe now has four children, all from the wedding. They also have a beautiful lab terrier mix named Bella. Amy firmly believes Bella is the reason Joe is sane today. Joe and Amy share the same enthusiasm and passion for health and wellness and can't wait to share their knowledge with the world.
